Tracking and/or overdubbing in a secluded, hillside facility in Los Angeles with three tracking rooms, and separate, spacious control room, featuring a Yamaha C7 grand piano, and equipped with dozens of classic mics by Neumann, Sennheiser, and AKG, and preamps by API, Great River, Focusrite, Millennia, and others.
Also, location recording at the site of your choosing.
Editing
Editing, to an orchestral score, lead sheet, or without a map at all if needed.
Restoration & Repair
Noise reduction, removal of clicks, pops, room noise, pedal clunks, click track leakage, popped P’s, string squeaks, excessive breaths, sibilance, unwanted instrument artifacts, overload distortion, etc.
Mixing
Final mixes of tracks recorded here or elsewhere.
Mastering
Preparation of final mixes for CD duplication or online streaming, fixing any technical flaws, generating CD metadata (ISRC and EAN/UPC codes, CD-TEXT, DDP files), working with the artist to improve the aesthetics of the recorded presentation of the music, providing MFiT certification (Apple’s Mastered For iTunes), and delivering files to the duplicators and streamers.
